What is Doming?

Doming is a process of adding a Urethane and a Catalyst to the top of the vinyl to make a lens or dome over the top. This coating is semi-ridged and completely clear. The mixture goes on as a thick liquid coating spreading to the edges of the vinyl and stopping on its own. After 24 hours, the doming mixture is cured fully and ready for shipping. Our crystal-clear polyurethane doming resins are designed for continuous outdoor exposure. They will not yellow, haze, or crack when used outdoors.  

Most doming operations only deal with huge orders that are produced on automated equipment.  At Info Screen Printing we pride ourself in short run customized production.  We can produce 1 up to 1000's of decals.  Our pre-production is done 100% digital reducing lead times and extra cost normally associated with set up.  We can produce completely customized domed decals at a fraction of the time and cost as most manufactures.
